Well technically you have only those rights given to you as a citizen, which means those rights can be stripped. This is corporate law and unless you are a "natural person" in Canada then you are at the mercy of those laws and have no other rights. This includes your rights as a parent. Which begs the question; what ever happened to inalienable rights?

I don't know about that, has anyone done a comprehensive survey on the topic? The far-left stories certainly get more press, but you also have to factor in that the story of the far left judiciary is much more popular than the story of the far right judiciary. Now whether conservatives badmouth the courts because of an imbalance of liberal justices, or whether liberally biased judges get more press because of the conservative story is hard to say. But I don't think it's quite the open and shut case you make it out to be.
