Not a huge Taylor Swift fan, though I do like some of her songs. Don't hate her, just don't listen to most of her songs.

I can say that, watching that video, I am a fan of Taylor Swift, the person. We need more men and women, willing to take a stand for democracy.

She's braver than the vast majority of artists in the country music industry.

I wish more republicans and Evangelicals put our country (and the planet) above their own end-of-time worldview.

She's on the country charts. That's the portion of her audience they were talking about in the video.

She 100% started out in country music. Sure it's "pop country" but that's still country
She is 100% a pop singer now though her country fans stuck with her. She could lose her country fans tomorrow and it wouldn’t be much of a dent in her fan base.
Country only stars don’t do much world touring vs pop stars.

Yeap. I totally get that.

That being said, that woman is a boss and incredibly kind to her fans. Four hour rain delay in Nashville yesterday. Swift never backed down. Went on stage, knocked out her standard FORTY-FIVE song, 3+ hour long extravaganza and wrapped up around 1:30am. That's giving the fans what they paid for. I don't like her music all that much (don't dislike it either) but I respect her a ton.

I picked up my wife from the airport this afternoon. And when I asked her how the show actually went she literally broke down in tears. It's a cult, but its a good one (that's what they all say)

I like her music, not a huge fan but enjoy her songs. She also writes her own music...very talented.
