let's try this again....


So, I Finally got my Athena ASP-400 sub(10in 100-400watt) the other day and hooked it up.

Paired with two Mirage Frx-5's as the fronts and an onkyo reciever, this is truely a great sub.

Qucik for music, and thunderous for movies; it was well worth the $290 I paid for it.

Got ripped on some cable I got but still a fantastic deal.


Watching 'Road to perdition' with it hooked up is something i will DEFINITELY remember for some time to come...or until i watch something else

seriously man, this thing hits notes I didn't know existed. EVERYTHIng...even the flight of the freakin bumblee sounds sooo much better.

I can turn it up now too so my tower speakers shine in the mid and high sections.....basically a concert in my bedroom.


I can't even imagine the sound in 6.1 that my reciever supports

wow, anxi, I've never heard a "newb" say that. You know how things work quite well around here...you'll fit in fine.

As for Goosemaster, enjoy it while you have it...soon enough you'll realize that 10" is less than 12" which is less than 15" which is less than IB sub.

I soo wish that day comes...

I only have two speakers + sub but am hoping to get two Paradigms to replace them and move them to the rear and get a nice center.
