Does anyone have that combination of pump & radiator? I hear great things about the pump. I want the radiator because I want 3 QUIET 120 mm fans on it... versus one loud one. Just want some feedback from owners who have both.

I've seen temps from a double heatercore equal that of a BI Pro III with the same fans, so unless looks/size matters, I'd get a heatercore.

If you're willing to pay, the Thermochill PA120.3 will do a better job than the BIP3 in a similar space (PA's are a few cm thicker than BIP's). But the BIP is already a pretty decent performer and the PA is over $70 more, so it's a question of how much that extra bit of performance is worth to you.

Clever, that 'extra' bit of performance is a negligible 1C--he'd be better off buying a better pump AND a better CPU block for that extra 70 bucks.

Personally, my money is on the MCR220..
I have 2 Sanyo Denki fans on mine undervolted to 5V, and I can't hear it. My chipset fan is louder.

This combination will work just fine. TBH, even two D5's are quiet, so one should be even moreso.

I agree - I'd upgrade to a Storm before spending on a PA120. Just that he was asking specifically about 120x3 radiator performance.

wrong. I upgraded from a heatercore to my BIP3 and it runing cooler and quiter. The heatercore is more restrictive and has only uses 2 fans. The BIP3 allows only more fan but much quiter fans like the yate loons on mine. Trying to use yate loons on a heatercore will give you higher temps.
