ok im a gamer and i like to play with my card on open gl but everytime i restart my computer or what not.. and it resets itself to direct 3d.. i was wondering if there was a way to keep it from changing back to direct 3d.. i would like to keep it on open gl... thanks in advance
 
Wow... The game chooses the API, not you or Windows. You question is not clear and makes little sense.

He's probably talking about a game like CS where you pick the renderer.
 
Oh, most games have some command line options or config files to force that. Very few new games have mor than one API, WoW being the only one I know of.
