just to chime in and throw in the few pennies I have

I think this project is a worthwhile one, I have been doing this project since the day Mastertech wrote his first recruiting thread.

I have watched this team kick the ever livin crap out of every one of the teams in front of us except for one, and now, I want to see Team Anadtech finish the job and roast some cows !!!😀

It appears I have lost another 400 candidates but at least its working for now. I will hold the course for now, but if the pattern of losing hundreds of candidates continues my patience will wane. Im thinking if I do move it may be towards find a drug, which has a mission similar to D2OL. After all, even though the stats and competitive atmosphere are great, I DID join for the humanitarian benefits of my work.

I would hope we can at least bring D2OL to number 1 before we lose the bulk of our TeAm. More hope in that it should be fixed and made a stable platform on site and on machine.

Your decision to move to a project is yours to make. No one will ridicule you for your decision. No one will be persuaded to move away from any ones project. But please have the dignity to not ridicule our project if you no longer participate or try to persuade others into leaving. I have no problems with recruiting tactics for your team, but make it in your own threads please. 🙂
 
It`s working for me. I am in fourth place! I will stick with it until we are in first place. I have a backup project or two installed on all my machines. When it gets too aggrivating I just switch projects until things are better. We can give Anandtech a first place team if we stick with it a while longer. When is the last time we had a first place team?
 
Good job Ken! 🙂 And to all the other TeAm mates that are hanging in during these frustrating times.

We've got a great shot at tipping the cows before the year is out... let's keep at it until then and see how the project is going.

Now, a couple of notes (guidelines maybe?)...

When the stats are down, let's do our griping in the Sengent forums instead of the AT forums for a few of reasons... 1) the Sengent folks will get a better idea of how much the stats mean to how many people... 2) we won't be chasing off any perspective new members with all the negativity that these posts bring out... 3) we won't have to deal with any of the (albeit good-natured) poaching of members to other projects.

For those of you that have chosen not to do this project, or have chosen to leave it, we are all fully aware of the projects that are out there, and why you have left this one or chosen not to do it. You don't need to reiterate how great the client is in your project, or how robust the stats are... this is what we have chosen to do... pls respect that and show a bit of decorum... we're all on the same TeAm with the same goal... make the best showing we can under the TeAm AnandTech banner.

Statz just be Statz Now if I only knew this stuff we are doing is going for something good.

If I do decide to leave D2OL it will be to a project that does research for Diabetes and I have yet to find one.

Ken008, I agree. I would like to see us put our TeAm at the top, and well out ahead. If you like the idea, we could once we are well up there, move around like TACO,( TACO WAS A GREAT BOOST FOR OUR TEAM) and help out some of the other projects that have been needing it, and come back to D2OL to shore up our lead, and fend off challengers to our #1 state. 🙂 This way we can be a part of many projects, boosting those in need and King of the Hill in our own. 😀
 
Yep... I like the idea of helping out other projects in return for what TACO did for the TeAm on this project... great idea John!

Well we sorta have a mini team. If we joined TACO we would have to go to the projects TACO wants. And I just wanna see what kind of power the D2OLers can throw around. 😛

perhaps the above posts should be considered requests for an invitation thread or PMs from TACO.... But I am guessing for this to be successful, an organizational wiz would need to step up and a stats guy too. (you know, like a real TeAm..... ie: TACovertO becomes TAOvertO)
