D2OL que?

Well I think I migth of devised a way to have a que for D2OL in linux. I mentioned it in another thread but I would like to take a poll now.

Here what I am considering doing. Setting up a small program that will check to see if the client is still producing. If it finds out it is not it will kill D2OL and then contact my FTP. Once connected it will download a new que set and start crunching on it. Your node would still be required to be online to send.

The only problem I see now is figuring out a way to kill the stuck canidates but keep the ones that need to be uploaded. I don't know enough of the D2OL client to know how it stores everything.

Well if you would use it just select yes.

Well, Im back after two weeks. I would be happy to use the queue but cant it be on a windows OS? Otherwise I cant make a server which would be something that I would like to do.

Well the server would just be an FTP server. As for why I am doing it on linux is just becuase I am going to make it run on a cron job for now. If I get it going and working then we can modify to be more usful and port it over to the other systems.

Sounds incredibly confusing... 🙁 A genuine certified biatch.. .... But dont give up because I think DOS is too.. LOL
