D2OL help....

I installed D2OL on my system, It runs fine and all that BUT whenever I log into my profile (Win2k Pro, the profile I installed it from) it gives me an error(twice) (D2OL is already running, you can find it in the system tray). The other 3 profiles are fine. Using MSConfig (I think I got it from 3dTweaks or something) It shows 2 copies starting up, one in "common startup" and one in "startup". The "all" profile has it in the startup folder, my profile doesn't, the registry is clear. Any ideas on how to fix it???

I`m probably showing my ignorance here, but if you try start/settings/taskbar&start menu then start menu/customize/advanced can you not arrange it to suit yourself ?
Or am I missing something ?

Yes, the problem is it is showing in the startup menu once but loading twice from "two different spots". The question is how can I get rid of the second one???

Can you download one of those programs for startup like Startup Manager, and see if its listed twice? If so just disable one of them and see what happens.

Go to start ---> run | Then type in msconfig

Once it is started, click on the startup tab and have fun. 🙂

Remy, did Win2k have Msconfig.. I thought they dropped it in 2K and brought it back with XP. Thats why I suggested the manager.. oops.

Oops I forgot that part, I used a "third-party" msconfig and yes it is listed twice (once as "common startup" and once as just "startup", If I disable either, it doesn't start at all.

Hmm now that you mention it they might of. But I am almost sure you can still access that info under win2k. I believe you can view what is starting up by using the system info program.... Hmm I haven't used win2k in a long time it seems.
