Lol, were those new stats taken now?

There is something really odd about this. At morning as I reported, there was about 6000 WUs done at 1:57 AM. Then it went to what it is now. Then again to the huge number (over 20k) and now again to the "normal" but its still the same what is was between those two big numbers ( I hope you understand what Im talking about ). The time has been the same all the time. I suspect they will go to the big numbers again soon.

Andy done them all.. Its been a crazy weekend for D2OL stats and servers. Those Sengent people need to hire weekend maintenance... hell Ill chip in a few bucks for it..

Yeah, you pistol whipped me! I dont even have one of my nodes showing. It was there this morning then disappeared.. not even listed in my profile on the TeAm page. I hope they didnt lose it.

All but one of my nodes is right on. But the one is isn't gained 600 or so canidates it self in 11 hours

The sergent team is not going to be very happy tomarrow!

Well mine are spot on with the stats on my d2ol clients. Last time I checked (around 2:00) it was way off.

If the counts are way off on the site it will change what your machine shows too.. they cross check each other. If you click on my user name on the team stats it will show 8 completed today. Yours shows 20

I am talking about if I login. When I do I can view my nodes and it will report the correct amount. But all other stats are still crazy.

I have received no response from the email I sent them earlier...they really need to fix some of these issues before people starting getting pissed and leaving :disgust:

We just need to keep chompin through the candidates TeAm and let Sengent work this stuff out. I know MT and I will stay on them and keep trying to get some response to our issues

Good luck. You do realize this crap has been going on for many months not only in D2OL, but also in CTSC, right? When it happens they reset the servers Monday morning and let everyone go on their jolly way until a week (or two if you're lucky) later when it happens again.

Over the past six months I've grown to dislike many things about the Sengent development team. Oh well. I won't have to put up with it for much longer.

This problem was just a major surprize to many on us because we have only been running the program for a few weeks, some only days. Now that we see what we can expect on some weekends it is safe to say that if you make sure your ques are full all the time you wont have any major after effects. This week we had

1. Entirely new Agent software to integrate... which always comes with its bumps in the road.
2. Server failures causing a delay in getting candidates... mostly hurt those activating new nodes and caused a lot of us to freak out when it was something that self corrected over a period of hours.
3. Server glitches over night causing wild and crazy counts. This only affects those of us who monitor closely our race to the top. After it is all corrected we will all go back to normal. We will all still get credit for our candidates completed so its just something you can adjust to happening on intemittent basis.

Hell I can sure remember times when SETI was just as hard to get along with or to keep cues full.

Dont panic, just sit tight and things will get back to normal tommorrow.
