Oh I'm sure but I don't care, I'll buy the legit games. I just have to wait until Steam does a sale. Which they just did and I picked up Bioshock 2 for $5 and Borderlands GOTY for $7.50 so I'm good. I'm pissed though that they haven't dropped the regional price on Mass Effect 2 yet. US buyers can get it for $15 at non-sale price while I still have the full $50 retail price.

Been kinda disappointed in this whole sale.

Only a couple of titles I've been interested in and they've been the wrong version.

Some of the later sale prices have been a joke too - CoD = $60, are you kidding?
 
The Max Payne bundle alone has made the whole thing worth it for me. I'm having a ton of fun with it.

I'm glad someone posted about it or I might not have checked.
 
Finally got a game I wanted today. Civ5 at 40% off plus additional 25% off "bunny" promo code. Also pick up Silent Hunter WOTP with U-boat Mission Pack for $7.50 after the 25% code. It's got DRM but for the price with mission pack I can live with it.

Heads up. Battlefield Vietnam for ~7$ and I'm reading it transfers onto Steam! I'm gonna try it out. Definitely a title I want. Easter is starting to be like Christmas steam.

I'm keeping my eye on Gamersgate, Steam, and D2D!

BC2 Vietnam isn't registrable on Steam but since Vietnam gets tied to your EA account that BC 2 is on you can access it playing through Steam or anywhere for that matter since it is all done through the game to connect Vietnam to it.
 
So would Steam track it? Hours played? I don't know if it has achievements.
No it doesn't register in the steam client if you buy it somewhere else. Bummer.

There is a picture showing the only evidence of Vietnam to be the Key inside the BC2 entry. Thus buying it from steam versus somewhere else.....really doesn't matter. Correct?

Yeah, Steam just tracks Vietnam as BC2 since you switch to Vietnam in the games actual menu screen.

No it doesn't matter like I said in the previous post. The DLC is tied to the EA account and you access it through the game. Vietnam is treated as DLC in the system.
 
But it wouldn't show up in "games owned" of your profile? Correct? In my library it would essentially not exist as seen by other users or tracking (like you say, steam only tracks BC2)

Correct, it wouldn't come up as game owned and it will still show up on the Steam store as something you could buy still.
 
D2D just updated the TDU2 deal from 50% off to 75% off. It's under $10 now, tempting since I like the first TDU...
 
I picked it it, will download tommorow.

Dirt 2 has really faded for me; I need a new driving game.
 
Tried to buy Napolean TW through Paypal few times and keep getting server error... when finally convinced myself to buy through credit card... D2D says need to call customer service to review the transaction!!! Then, deal now become Rift zzzz

At least I saved myself a few dollars!
