I have been playing Shenmue for over sixteen hours straight! I...can't...stop...playing... I didn't go to class today, I'm really far behind in my classes as it is, and now this?! Why couldn't he have a made a worse game? It's just perfect, though. I enjoy waking up and going to work and then at night hunting for clues as to who killed my father and why. <sob> I saw the commercial for it a couple days ago (while I was still away from my Dreamcast, and had yet to play it), you know, the one with the guy speaking to a psychiatrist or someone about how he WAS Ryo Hazuki? Well, at the time I thought that commercial was silly. Now, I understand and am absorbed myself. Maybe if I stop playing now, the end of the game can be my reward for finishing my homework...

I used to spend weekends playing Virtua Fighter 3 on the arcades, which was also his creation. The good old days..

Played Shenmue for 5 minutes, and I'm bored already. I guess I can't stand slow/long games.

i love it. it's like Zelda set in 1986 Japan only with less fighting. I normally can't stand rpg games because of the hp meter/mana/levels/three people in one/fighting system/weird ass furry things, but THIS is great! The Zelda series has been my all time favorite series of games, and this is just like it.


...i hated virtua fighter 3.
