I have recently bought a d-link wireless compcat adaptor, but i have just found out that it is not plug n' play. That means if I have to carry the installation CD with me, it seems to lose the meaning of the "compact" design of the wireless adaptor. I just wanna know if there is any plug n' play compact adaptor in the market.
Second of all, I want to know how can you determine a port, whether it is usb 1.0 or 2.0? Because I am not sure if I am using the right port for my wireless adaptor, and the speed seems to lag a little bit,so i just want know make sure if i am plugging it in the right place. Is there any software that can detect which version of usb is the port?
