d-link wbr-2310 is absolutely awful

I bought this yesterday and it worked fine for about 3 hours and then it slowed down, started dropping the wireless and what not. Just an awful router. I'm going to take it back and get another one but don't know which is better... there's this linksys WRT54G2 that looks good but don't know if it is. Thoughts?

Save yourself the headache and either get a WRT54GL or an Asus router that is flashable and upgrade it with DDWRT. The Asus I bought, the stock firmware was crappy and the router itself didn't work right at all, took several minutes to obtain an IP address via DHCP. I put DDWRT on it and it works great now. Hardware is good, software is what almost always is buggy.
