Picked this unit up at compusa for $40 with a $20 rebate. But I have seen some negative posting about weak and inconsistent signal strength. Any owners out there that can help me with this decision. For $20 its a great price IF it works.

I would never buy DLink. They are like the kmart of wireless equipment. LinkSYs and NetGear are much better quality.

EDIT: If this is just for the client card and not the actual router, then I'd get it and try it out and see what happens first. Can always return it befor eyou cut off the UPC... Just make sure to do it before the end of the rebate mailing period.
 
Thanks for the input. I was trying to justify the "great deal" at $20 AR. But all the reviews at newegg, etc gave it 50% satisfaction at best. Guess its time to return it.
