D-Link router problem

hi, i have the dlink router, the di-701 and i cant seem to connect to AIM and most internet games. aim can verify my password, but it freezes when tryin to start services. in games (counterstrike), i only get a few servers (like 100) when i know there are a few THOUSAND servers. i used to see everything without the router and just me, but now that im sharing with the router it doesnt work. ie works fine, like a charm in both computers actually. what do i have to do to make these work?? do the other routers like the linksys and the netgear do the same?? please help!! thanks.....
