Not a bad deal. And if you use budget shipping, you'll also get free shipping. This ends up being $25.01 for me (tax is $1.69).

Anyone know how buy.com are with their rebates. Never did rebates with them.

most likely yes. USB2.0 is known to be barkwards compatible both ways.
