I have a "D-Link DSL-302g-revC" modem running through a new "Powerware 1500 watt" UPS. The slightest drop in voltage, eg:"when my air-con cuts in", drops my connection. I notice the power adaptor for the modem is 240v-AC in & 9v-AC out, not DC. I wonder if the AC supply to the modem is the problem?.
The UPS is doing it`s job fine.
Any IDEAS ppl, or is this just a BUM modem?.
Regards,

AC is correct. Move the power plug to a different socket, and make sure, by checking the manual etc, that the UPS is working OK.

Thanks Slowlearner. Been there, done that.
Happens when our supply drops to 225v or lower eg: when everybody`s using there air-cons. We also are on the end of the supply line.
May have to buy an internal modem. I bought the UPS to rectify this, but to no avail.
Cheers,
