hi could anyone plz tell me whether this product works as advertised bcoz i havrnt been able to find a suitable review about this product not even on anandtech i was abt to buy the killer nic gaming card but after reading the review at anandtech iopted not to buy so plz give me true answers whether this product is a lag or a frag

It's pretty much a DGL-4300 without the wireless. The DGL-4300 is more popular because it's got the wireless in addition, and doesn't cost much more. The DGL-4300 is sometimes even cheaper than the DGL-4100.

So you could look for reviews / opinions on the DGL-4300, factor out the wireless part, and even get one and disable its wireless if you wanted.

$109 is a steep price for wired Router even if it has Giga switch.

If you need the specifc things thta it offers, it it might be a good buy.

But may be you want to explain in terms of network why you need th is device, and how you are going to use it, coz could be that you are wasting your money.

i want to use the packet prioritizing as i am in india i get 300 ping in battle.net and there is 100% packet loss or timed out if ping battle.net so do u think whethere this will reduce ping to 200 or less

packet prioritizing applies only to internal traffic leaving your network. latency is an expression of how much time it takes for a packet of data to get from one designated point to another.

no router will change that...this is networking, not magic. either get another ISP or move to another country...the backbone infrastructure in India is severely lacking.
