I just came back from Bestbuy Concord Pike in Wilmington, DE to pick-up my router and they have still same their. It's behind another D-Link router. The model # is DI-704 without the P!! They don't sell the DI-704P. It's a mistake from the Bestbuy website.

Nice to see someone else from Delawhere....

This is a half decent router especially for the price...no major outstanding features but it's been reliable for me.

Well, it's not a mistake. I just grabbed the last DI-704P from a local store. There are still six DI-704 left. Both models are on sale and with the same rebate amount.

Ask 'em to look around. I found that there where about 15 704's and about 5 704p's up on a shelf.
And this after the BB Emp. told me they don't carry it.

I now have the Printserver for the same price and the Non-Printserver model.

More bang for the buck.

I have this router. It's great. Look no further and get it. About the only thing wrong with it is that it only has 4 ports. Other then that it's fast and reliable. I paid 80 bucks for mine and feel I got a great deal. With I only paid 30 bucks for it! :)

One nice feature it does have if you ever get kicked off cable cause of your web server... Or you move somplace that doesn't have boradband *GASP* you can plug your modem into the back and still connect all your PC's up with out having to do a software router. I've never done this so maybe it wouldn't work so hot. But, in thery I thought it was a nice touch.

That's exactly what happened to me. Just moved into a new home and the neighborhood isn't setup w/ broadband yet. Been using 1-way cable for 3yrs and just went back to 'ol v90 connections and I have to say it f#%^ing sucks.

Anyway, I bought this router for just this reason. My trusty Netgear RT311 doesn't have the ability to connect a modem and I've been using it to share cable for so long I Didn't feel like setting up a software solution to share the internet. The DLINK 704 allows an external modem to be connected to it and you can share a dialup connection that way. Saves me from fighting my wife for the phone line all the time, and I don't need to leave my PC on when I'm not connected. Of course, I'm still dying for more bandwidth, but, that'll come someday.
