D/ling Gmail to phone with Outlook open?

I've noticed that if I leave my Outlook open all day, running my pop3 Gmail account, my phone which is also set up to receive pop3 mail won't d/l it since it's been marked by Gmail as having been d/led. Is there a way around this? I have it set up so that the mail is left on the server without deletion--but can't think of anything more to do.

try setting it to get mail less often? turn it off while your gone?

Go to tools->account->view/change->more settings->advanced->check "leave copy of messages on server"

I believe that's the right path to the setting in outlook '03.

Yup, already done that..and it leaves it on the server, but I think gmail makes messages marked as read if it's retrieved even if it's still on the server.

Theres a setting in the GMail options to turn this off, IIRC.

I think gmail has a limitation that you can only sync from one pop3 source.
