deal isn't officially dead, but considering it states right there that "There is only quantity one of each B-stock product", and the fact that hundreds of people must have ordered this already, what do you think? don't get me wrong, i ordered one too, and want it to come. i'm just stating the obvious.

more like just being a jerk

just because i dont post doesnt make me a newb. Ive been lurking for well over a year now. I just recently decided to share my thoughts.

dood, how about stop trying to label him as a jerk. get over it. I could see why he thought this deal may be dead, it does say quantity ONE.

Am I being a jerk too? Did I hurt your feelings?

It's only a hot deals thread, not taking a crap; don't get all emotional about it... ;)

Found what "B stock" mean. It doesn't sound too bad. Not refurbished but still returned.
B Stock items are whose which have been returned for whatever reason such as incorrect order, packaging opened / missing, quantity is different from normal or any other reason that we don't include them as normal stock.

Im sure there have allready been 200+ monitor orders by now and i doubt they have that many returns to supply us with.

JEsus if I didn't just spend all that $ on a Planar I'd be all over this.

I bet there's either something really wrong with it or it's a mistake. Aren't these things like $400 everywhere else??

I ordered one last Monday.

They are backordered.

In speaking with a CSR, they said they are working on sourcing it.

I just ordered one shipped to NC for $131.54. I couldn't find the info regarding b stock items on the site, but even if it turns out to be a refurb it's still a hot deal. Thanks!

I have this monitor at work and its ok at resolutions below 1280x720. But don't try and go above 1280x720 and expect decent resolution.

Also another very important thing to note is that there are 2 horizontal damper wire shadows that are very visible on this monitor. Every trinitron monitor I've ever seen has these. I can't honestly stand them. They are annoying and for this reason I will not be getting in on this deal.

That review someone posted also notes this problem and it is quite visible in this image:

monitor glare from lights is about 10x more annoying than the damper wires are though, and without a flat screen that's what you'll get

i had a sony trinitron monitor before... and yes those lines are kinda annoying when u r on MS Word or something. but i think it's not horrendously noticable. it's most notable when on a white background. but since my background is usually dark colored... and there are not many webpages that are solely white... i think it's not a big issue.

I just ordered one; $25.xx ground shipping to CT.
I was wondering if they really have so many monitors or they just don't have real-time inventory tracking? From what I know they sell more to businesses (b2b heh...) so they should be a serious company; let's hope that they have the monitors.

Ok, I DID read everyuthing, but still unjclear, I see that you can return it within 30 days, but does it still retain a Manufacturers warranty, or is 30 days all you get?

Second someone mentioned they have one and it isnt perfectly flat... this is an FD Trinitron it MUST be perfectly flat to carry that name right? so whats the deal? comments?

Also, in my opinion you can't even notice the damper lines unless you are on a stark white back ground, and the benefits of an excellent monitor like this far outweigh that trifling concern IMHO

This monitor isn't perfectly flat, it's curved very very slightly horizontally, like all FD trinitron monitors. The curvature is so minor you wouldn't be able to notice
