hehe seems like the 1mil mark is going to be a day sooner every time stats are posted 😛 which would make the REAL date,, 3 days from now? 😛
 
heh... I swapped out an Asus CUBX running a Tualatin Celeron 1.1A @ 1.4g with 372Mb ram running Win98SE and replaced it with an Abit KR7A-RAID running and XP1600+ with 256Mb ram running Win2K Pro... same hd, vidcard and nic.... the new rig is currently crunching at twice the rate of the old one 🙂

According to this place CPU scorecard a 1.3 duron outperforms a 1.7 celeron at stock speeds. The celeron is probably a better overclocker though. $53 for the celeron, $53 will get you an XP1700+ I would take the XP anyday. $35 for the duron is a bargain.
