Both of my machines are having problems too. One machine refuses to d/l more work (I'm spoonfeeding it the stuff I got from you the othjer night, Geoff) and the other is acting like it's got a bad/stuck candidate. I.e. not doing any work, although it has some. The strange thing is that the one that is stuck, is stuck on a candidate with 37atoms and 9 rotatable bonds. So it's not a zero rotatable bond issue. I do the ole ALT-F and it says everything is fine. I shut it down, clear out the tasks, inqueue.dat and structs files/folder and it d/l's more work and hangs again. Very, very strange.



And up until a couple days ago, I was actually thinking they had gotten their act together.

Ok, it appears to be a DSpy issue. I just expanded D2OL and it shows it is working on conformer #6 but within DSpy it looks like it does when you have a stuck candidate, hanging at "Computing Docking Grid....". I just watched it roll from 5 to 6 and then conformer 7. So work is being done.

I just checked my machines, one stuck and one doing excatly what you posted. I guess Dspy doesn't like the new canidates.

One of rigs was stuck with the "Initializing.." message on the client; I tried shutting down the client, removing certain parts of the data as described by others on the Sengent site to fix similar problems and no go. Finally, since I had to get to work, I just fired up the S@H client and figured I'd deal with it when I get home tonight.

daaavo - Use this new (beta) version of DSpy that malor just put out today to fix this problem. It has to do with the name of the candidate. Worked for me

networkman - I believe there were issues with the candidate server this morning. They should be fine now.

I cleared out all my cands last night by deleting inque, outque, task data, and deleting all the cands in structs. Then rebooted them and they all downloaded fine with no stalls. Got all new candidates.

Grrr. My client must have stalled again. I'll have to reset it when I can.
