Well, as being a complete n00b at D2OL, I just installed the client on my Powerbook G4 which was doing nothing..
But I don't know how much it produces en how fast it is.. The client downloaded 50 candidates in the queue and completed
about 12 candidates in the past errr... 8 hrs.. It send in 5, which are also shown in the stats on the site. But it doesn't say anything
about time spent on any conformer or candidate.. So as of yet, I don't have a steady production...
I'd love to joine the race but I don't know if I can.
Or maybe I should ad a node which does give me a stable production 😉

Don't know anything about Macs, but 12 cands in 8 hours sounds a bit slow.
An example, an Athlon XP 1900 can do about between 70 to 100 candidates per day, depending on what size the candidates are.
If the candidate has a small number of rotatable bonds (torsions) and atoms it will complete a lot quicker than one with higher numbers of bonds and atoms (obviously 🙂 ). And it's pot luck as to what candidates you download.

70-100 candidates per day? I have an XP 1700+ Palomino and an XP 1600+ Palomino which only output 21 and 27 per day, respectively, according to the D²OL website. Am I doing anything wrong?

Don't know, but my 1900 is on it's 84th candidate as I type
😕 and it's a Palomino with 256 meg pc 2700 ram and Windows XP Home.
That's an average result.
Have you tried running DSpy with logging enabled ?
I'm not too fond of the way D²OL report their stats!

I am using DSpy, but I don't know how to enable logging. My figures of 21 and 27 are from the D²OL stats page. Both of the aforementioned machines have at least 256 mb of PC2100 and running Win2k.

Right click on the DSpy icon and select Logging 😀

Andy is a big gun now, he got a new rig. I want him on my team . Make it be so please. Vodka lovers unite!

Why does the Dspy show that I haven't completed anything, while the client has 25 results to upload??
Dspy says Completed: 0 (25)
It is logging, the whole time.. Nice graphs btw.. 🙂

Welcome to the Team Cygor ! Nice to have you aboard. Please request t join team 3 in our MTR. I saw you first, DIBS !

Heh, I see you have much fun organisating race..

I won't participe in it, but have some idea's..

Maybe create 4 mini-TeAms by putting members in four groups, depending on their production.. First group with these 4 highest out-producers, second with next 4, etc.. They take one member from each group and create mini-TeAm - this could give everyone equal chances...

Just an idea, say if you like it or no..

The (25) means you have 25 candidates to upload.
If you do what ken008 says and do a manual update, the candidates should show up on the web site in about half an hour(?)
The 0 shows how many candidates you've completed since you started running DSpy (I hope 😀) because you have no stats on the web site.

I'll check that when I flush.. (those 25, which are 36 already😉 are on my PIV)
My Powerbook has flushed 24 since yesterday but they still don't show any times yet.. Just numbers of candidates and conformers. Any idea about that? I'd like to know how long they take avaraged.. And Dspy won't work on a Mac 🙁
A well, I'll just let it run..

Cygor: you must add the node at the D2OL website also. Click on teams, log in, click nodes, click add node, if anything is listed there click on it. You must activate your nodes.

I added 2 nodes to my profile as soon as I installed the clients.
They both show up in my profile and it does say I did 24 candidates.. The node ID = 9926
I'll flush the other machine at the end of the day..
Thanks for the help!! 🙂

Ontopic:
Geoffs, I'd like to join the race!!! 😀

Well that kinda s*cks!! 😉
I went through their forums a little bit but didn't find anything about this..

Just curious.
Is your node id correct? 9926 sounds a little low if you've joined up recently, or is it an old node?

Still no improvements after flush from my other machine.. Time is still stuck at 0ms 🙁
Could this be that the Mac client causes the times for both nodes to get stuck at nothing??
Time to register on their forums and ask there I guess..
Geoff, any experience with this?

I don't have to send you a screenshot.. If you go to the statistics on their website, then click on 'top members' so you can fill in my name at the top of the screen: "CyGoR".
Or click on 'more' on the bottom and search for my nick name..
In the popup screen you'll see my stats. I've got 2 nodes working and both send in work. But it doesn't show any times at:
Total Docking Time and Avg Dock Time for both Candidates and Conformers..
My apple has been doing nothing else for the past 30hrs but crunching...

Think you'll have to ask Charles Beckius on the D²OL forum about this one CyGoR 😕

What's the lastest version of DSpy? 2.04? And when will be new posted?
And is version 2.0 od D,OL agent the lastest one?

Latest version is 2.04 (DSpy homepage here)
Whenever malör does a new version (probably for D²OL 2.5)
D²OL latest version is 2.0
