You'll be the retard that brought a bicycle to a car fight.

Hahaha, good point. I think both parties are at fault here. The cyclist should have kept his cool and not grabbed onto the car- that is only asking for trouble. Also, the guy in the car should have not sped off. Pretty obvious stuff to me it seems.

If the cyclists there are anything like the ones in San Francisco than it is pretty easy to piss them off. Cyclists obey the laws only when they want to, which is not often and as a result its very easy to accidentally cut them off. I almost hit a cyclist once because he failed to yield when he was suppose to, he flipped out and started swearing at me even though we was in the wrong. Drive around downtown San Francisco and you can see behavior like this all the time.

If a cyclist were to reach in the way this one did, I probably would have done the same thing the driver did.

They're now saying that they have surveillance tape which suggests that the cyclist went at the driver and was actually holding onto the driver. The cyclist had just had a big fight with his girlfriend, and had recently been arrested for something. I take back most of what I said about the SAAB driver (not all).

way to jump to conclusions initially.

It's the mos excersize some people ge.

Why is this thread in P&N now? Didn't it start in OT?

There were two threads, one in OT and one in here. They both followed the same course. The thread became much less active when it was revealed the cyclist was basically a crazy drunken shitfucker and notsomuch a hapless victim run over by a "cager" drunk with power and hatred for cyclists.

I have no idea what I would do if a cyclist grabbed onto the inside of my car. But I doubt he would enjoy the outcome. I really think a separate bike highway system is a good idea. Expensive though.
