I'm 22 , have a Barracuda XX FR ,full suspension
a Pacific MTB for rough ride
and goin to get a high end road bike with ultegra/ 105.....

I'm embarassed to say because I haven't ridden much lately... but... I fully intend to get back on the saddle after I move into our new home in December. (I live in FL so I can ride all year long).

I have a Haro Team Frame built up myself (XT /Deore/pulsar/Velocity/Kooka/Thompson/Rock Shock Judy/front disk/Avid/ etc...slightly over 23 Lbs.)
My Road bike is a one off hand built (made by a guy that worked for Bruce Gordon for himself) Dura Ace/amercian Classic/TTT/Velocity...19Lbs. (not bad for a steel frame!

I also have a Pre WWII Dayton fat tire cruiser.
And a Schwinn Typhoon that I'm fixing up.

PS. I manage a local bike shop. (it's good to be me, at least where biking is concerned)

BTW: I have a DA BOMB full face kevlar down hill helmet I wanna sell if anyone is interested. (new never worn!) Med. BLACK.
I also have a pair of KORE BIGUNS 36 hole hubs for sale too, new never laced up. The rear is a cassette type.

(I know this isn't the FS forum, but I put them up in there and got no takers and since this is a BIKING thread....)

Would trade any and all for computer stuff......

I have a Trek Y11 OCLV full-suspension, Marzocchi Z.3 Light, Stratos Pro air/oil, LX componentry. I'm 28 and am starting to lose some enthusiasm for the sport. There aren't enough trails around here and the ones that are bike legal are either cluttered with riders, in poor condition or are paved. You're forced to ride on illegal trails if you want a good riding experience...or drive 2+ hours to get to less-populated areas.

I used to work part time for Dick Ryan here in town (until he moved back to Boston and sold out to long bikes)

Yakko, West Palm Beach area. I don't do a lot of trails, mostly road riding on my MTB(s), but, I like the option of going the scenic route sometimes so I didn't get any road bikes. I'm not into racing, just do it for fun.

My Dad lives in Gainsville Fla. and I went down there to ride before (suxed except for Road riding)
I also went to Moab a few years ago, MAN was I glad to get back to Oregon!!

Do your self a favor if you ever get the chance and come riding in Or.!!!!

I have a Pashley PDQ. When i first saw Recumbant bikes i thought how the hell can you ride that. A engineer here at work bought one about a year ago and he had it outside and he let me ride it around for a bit on my lunch hour. I fell in love with it. the best way i can describe it is sitting in a Lazyboy recliner chair with peddles. The engineer told me of a store in Boulder that sells nothing but recumbants so i made a trip over there and found one that i really liked so i bought one.

Just a bit harder to stand up and crank up the hills!

yea that is very true, ive pushed it up my fair share of hills. but im not into hardcore bike training. I ride for the fun of it and just basically putz around on flat city streets.

Now the engineer who turned me on to recumbants he is harcore, he just got back from a 2 week bike tour of Itally, he rode the whole boot!! he didnt do it on a recumbant but on his touring bike. this dude is 49 and has about 3% body fat. When he started riding recumbants he said the strenth of his thighs really improved which improved his endurance on his marathon touring rides.

Not really into hardcore mtb ride but I'm happy just with the street ride. I'm even happy if I hang a nice/ well equiped bike up in garage for display/deco .

I have a recumbent and I love it!

I can get one.....for indoor exercise in great price coz my company selling them....they're great.

When I lived in Vero Beach we used to go down to West Palm to ride on the property behind the K-mart on Southern Blvd. It is still one of the best places I have ever ridden.

Full XTR?!?!? geez, nice bike!

Once had a bike which was full STX. WAs built on a chromoly frame and STOLEN.

My first ride is a Specialized FSR Comp, XT/XTR (LX front der.), Avid 2.0 levers...nice, but a bit heavy (27lb) for my riding needs. I mostly stick with my cross bike, a Kona Jake the Snake.

I have an elcheapo mountain bike that does my job.

Its a $69.99 Magma Glacier Point mountain bike. No shocks what so ever. I like it and for what I paid for its worth every cent in terms of what I use it for.

buy the way mine is bought from Target but damn its pretty well built, not a problem after all the abuse I have put it thru.

I have 3 bikes: a road bike, a mountain bike, and a commuter.

These bikes all have one name: VooDoo Bokor with 6800 miles since mid-1997. My rear derailleur broke last month, so now I'm sportin' an STX :Q The rest is a mix of LX/XT/XTR parts.

I mostly road ride........used to mtn. bike, but here in SE GA, it's so flat, the mtn. biking is rather poor.

Mtn..........a Cannondale F3000

Road.......my mostly-used-as-acommuter is a Cannondale SilkRoad1000, Ultegra STI and bb, DuraAce ders, FSA carbon crankset (very nice and light!), Campy carbon seatpost.

My mostly-used-as-a-roadbike is a Trek 5200 undergoing the DuraAce and carbon upgrades.

Also have a Schwinn Phantom "cruiser".......very deceptively light.
