First off, "www".domain_name.extension is just a redirection, as is
anything.domain_name.extension. By convention, almost everyone redirects
www.domain_name.extension to the primary directory in domain_name.extension. But they
don't have to. Sometimes, usually by oversight, www.domain_name.extension is not
defined for a web site. It means nothing more than that.

Second, you can't just go out and register your favorite ".gov" domain. An actual "domain_name.gov"
URL is about as good a guarantee as you're going to get that the domain is legit...

Was this aimed at me?? If so, please explain in what way what I posted made me so immature that I am now pathetic?

I was simply pointing out what someone else had noticed and asked if anyone else could lookup the domain - I could not as whois would not work for me at the time of the post (just as I said). I went further to check into it via the usps.gov site, and they came up with an address in Boston as the contact info for the Postal Inspectors for Portland, ME. Which I do think you might agree should raise a little concern, don't you think?

After being burned by CW (I was not btw I simply hated seeing others wronged like this), do you not think it prudent to examine this a little closer? After all wasn't/isn't Mr White a resident of the Portland area? Has he not pulled enough scams, and told enough lies to question anything that may be remotely linked to him?

Finally, if trying to look out for others makes me immature and pathetic, then so be it. If some of members here would have listened to the pathetically immature people here when they warned of CW early on, maybe this mess wouldn't be as big as it is, and some wouldn't be out up to hundreds of dollars. Guess I'd rather be immature and pathetic than callous and indurated. I think I must be in good company then...

I would love nothing more than to see CEO Shawn White spend some time in the slammer and have to repay a whole sh!tload of fees.

And people called me crazy for not getting in on it.

I wonder if I can get ebay nailed on federal wire fraud statutes.

I am out $3.95. Had the website up 1 month then nothing since then, no refund, no nothing.

I want to be added to the list of people complaining!
