Cyberrebate Experience?

Have you dealt with cyberrebate? What's your experience? How long does it take to get your rebate?

I waited 6 months to get my rebate for my over-priced items. Great site if you don't mind tying up your money for a while.

its a lot better than it used to be. i bought something from them before they changed their name and domain, and the rebate was a hassle. now you can just download them and check status online, so its nice. still, though, it takes a while to get the rebates.

and the rebate form that they promised me

I've gotten about $100 back and should be gettig about $400 more on 11/14/00. Then I think I have abuot $200 which all of it hasn't been processed yet.

I had some trouble with my first ones but customer support was good. My friend also lost his upc codes and sent an email to cust. support and got it worked out. Plus if you go through ebates and use a credit card that gives cash back you can actually make money and build credit history.

That's what I'm doing.

I've ordered a lot of stuff from them. I'm giving the goods away as prizes for this web site I'm starting. For example I've received all 10 binoculars they offer.

So far the rebates have been going well. I did have a problem with one rebate, they said there was something wrong withthe upc, but they gave it to me anyway after I made some noise.

My main fear is that they're some kind of pyramid scheme and the thing will collapse when I have $1000 worth of rebates with them.

BTW they had a full page ad in Newsweek this week.

I've ordered from them several times in the last year. Paid off every time. Last time was in about 3 - 4 months. Some day they might go bankrupt. I guess that will be a sad day since I don't see that we will have any recourse when that happens.
