My parents recently acquired a lake side resort in Oregon and they are looking into adding a small (2 ? 4 computers) CyberCafe so their customers can check their emails, chat with their friends, and just search the internet while they stay at the resort.
The kind of have given me the task to find what they need to get them up and running. I have been doing some research but I was hoping some of you might have some suggestions on the software side of it since we want these computers to function independently.
What I mean by that is they are looking for a system that allows the user to enter their credit card number (or they can pay us in cash) to activate a certain amount of minutes based upon how much they paid. It would be nice for it all to be automated so someone doesn?t have to run it all.
I have been looking at CyberLaunch for the management side of the software. Anyone have other suggestions?
I am also looking for some kind of administrator software that locks up the computer so little kids cannot mess with any settings or install their own software. I really have no idea on any good software. Any ideas?
Of course I would have your anti-virus/spyware/firewall software setup also. But if you can think of other software that would be important I would like to hear about it.
