Call me an asshole, every time the news media CLAIMS that "Cyber Bullying" takes a life, I have zero empathy. If you're THAT weak-minded of a soul to not be able to turn off your monitor - stop camwhoring - and shut the fuck up.... Than you are simply too weak minded for this world, and I definitely don't want you to pass on genetics that stupid anyways.

Sorry, but facts hurt - no matter what side of this issue you are on, you're a compete moron if you find any empathy for this shit. Why is it that children these days can't worry about their own lives? You could be a football star, the next pokemon master, and a complete success in life. But no... worrying about what your Facebook status is set to is WAY more important.

People that are stupid enough to do this type of shit are easy to spot. Just logon to your Facebook and find anyone who makes a status like "OMG I can't believe this shit!" or "I am so hurt.. Guys are assholes" - <Insert any sentence that is obviously looking for people to reply and ask what they are talking about>.

And what exactly is "mental illness"? Anyone who commits suicide regardless of reasoning will have a mental illness, it's called stupidity - and it runs rampant in the forums as well.

By all means - please present any counter-argument to the fact that only this generation is socially inept enough to actually commit suicide over their online representation instead of going outside and shooting some basketball hoops - or more important as seen by the grades in school these days - doing homework

Tragic.. Parents need to get more involved in what their kids are doing online. Especially if she had a history of mental illess. RIP

That anger and disgust you feel at a human being so upset with her life that she saw to end it is its own form of illness. Not the same as hers, but hopefully it will show you that illnesses come in many forms.

So, if someone's bullied online, your solution is they shouldn't use a computer - they should go outside and play basketball. What if they're bullied on the basketball court? I suppose your ultimate solution is they should just lock themselves in a room where they can't be bullied.
