Any faster? BB .4 seems a bit more responsive. However I opted to include ADWLauncher when I went to CM6RC1.

ADW Launcher is always pretty quick for me. I haven't fully put it through its paces yet, flashed it literally as I posted this thread. Others in the support thread report that its much more fluid than RC1, which was already pretty fluid.

My theme of choice, 928Droid's Black Glass isn't RC2 ready yet though. :(

Differences are imperceptible to me. My favorite feature, not new to RC2, is page reflow after pinch to zoom.

Hmmmm maybe I'll try this one out while I wait for BB 0.5 to come out.
Pretty happy with it (BB 0.4, Smoked Glass, LauncherPro+, ChevyNo1 1.1 ULV kernel) as is...but that's what backups are for.

Ordered the Game Gripper yesterday for my Droid...hopefully I get before leaving on vacation next Monday!

Had to go back to kangerade. I like the nex theme too much. And, performancewise, not much of a difference to me.

Went back to BB .4. Much, much more responsive.

What kernel are you using? Every build of BB I've tried, even going back to his Eclair mods, has had issues with stuttering. CM is always rock solid and smooth as butter.

So far I'm very happy with 6.0 RC2, together with ChevyNO1 LV 1.2 Ghz kernel the phone flies.

biggest outward change I can see thus far is on the Power Control Widget. It now includes an option to toggle 3G on or off. Only had it for a few minutes though.
I missed that button over the weekend when my phone was almost out of juice and I wasn't gonna be back for a while.

Voila! Problem solved :D

I am not a fan of Cyanagen. It stutters and is not smooth. More importantly, it locks up, and it does NOT like Dolphin browser at all.

hmm I've never had the stuttering/not smoothness in Cyanogen. What device are you on? I'm running Cyanogen RC2 for the Droid and everything is perfectly smooth. Running it with a P3 1200Mhz(only pushing it to 1000 atm) low voltage kernal.

As to Dolphin browser I have no idea why it has issues. I've never wanted to use it after the first time, not impressed.

Dolphin or DolphinHD? Dolphin was better than stock Browser, but HD is clearly the best browser on the market right now.

I probably don't use my browser enough to take advantage of all the features etc, I generally just use the stock browser. I used Opera Mini for awhile which was pretty good but didn't like that all the pages go through their servers.

Have you tried any other kernels with it?

I am using the P3 LV 1200 MHZ kernal. Everything I've seen says it should be fine. Any other good LV 1200+ kernals around besides P3?

Haven't had any issues with CM since version 5.0.6.2. Dolphin HD has never had a problem.

I have no idea, it could be a lot of things. I haven't had time to properly troubleshoot. Cyanogen was good, but I want to try other ROMs anyways so figured I would first find the ROM that I liked best then fiddle around with it to optimize it.

I'm on a Droid (the original) with the same as you have on it. I have mine up to 1100, but only if it's plugged in or battery is 60%+ and the screen is on. That could be part of the problem as well, that it gets stuff queued up when it's in a lower power mode so it then has to try to execute a backlog of code.

Like I said, I haven't properly troubleshooted it yet so it could be a setting I have. Today it was giving me issues in gmail where it is taking forever to load it, and won't pull down previews of attached pictures. It seems as though each day it is getting worse with new issues coming up.

Also, I'm using Dolphin HD.

My problem with Cyanogen was after exiting any program that was half way intensive, just about every widget would have to reload back on to the desktop. And it was sluggish or unresponsive for several seconds as well.
I could have been using chevyno1's kernels, which IIRC, weren't meant for Cyanogen.
