Sounds required to me.

Let's put it this way, no church I've ever been in would:

1) Force you to take communion or
2) Give two sh!ts if you elected not to

Is it something that most Christians are going to WANT to do? Yes. There is simply no good reason to not make it accessible to everyone.

No alcoholic is going to face persecution in the church for going to communion and only accepting the bread. And I remain unconvinced that a communion's worth of wine will be problematic for a recovering alcoholic, though I have to admit to having no real experience with alcoholism.

I'm also of the opinion that getting children used to the taste of alcohol at a young age isn't the best idea.

You obviously never drank any church wine as a child. There is no such thing as acquiring a taste for paint stripper

The bottles contained several different brands and types of juice and were found during an inventory check, police said Friday. The CVS store was shut down as a precaution, and other stores in the area were notified.

The discovery comes after 40 churchgoers at Calvary Baptist Church were sickened last Sunday. Five people were sent to the hospital with nausea and vomiting after drinking the juice during a communion service, but nobody was seriously injured.

Jesus saved them from serious harm.
