CV Joint?

So I got this stick car two days ago.......and had never driven stick before in my life.

When I accelerate from a stop slowly, everything is fine, shifting at around 3500 keeps it from being a bumpy ride. However, when I accelerate quickly, there is an extreme grinding noise from the front right of the car and also a "hard" shift into second, third, etc can produce the same grinding noise.

Is it that I am teh suck at stick or is it possibly a CV joint? Noise is MUCH worse when turning and accelerating at the same time.

Sounds like a bad Trans/Motor mount also. What is the year make and model. A lot of cars/trucks when the mount goes bad it can damage the CV joint.

Try just coasting and turning, if you hear a clicking noise that is your CV joint. Get them both replaced at once, eventually the other one will fail if that car is as fubarred as you say.

CV joints make noise when you're turning, and they click. If you're hearing a
grinding noise, you should probably take it and have it looked at because
it could be alot of things.

Coasting and turning left does it bad, coasting and turning right only if you turn fast.

Perhaps what I say is grinding could be described as rapid clicking?
