K...cutting hair is getting expensive. Usually about $40 a month for me for just getting a #2 or #1 fade to up. Is their a guide to fades? Google seemed to pull up "buy now" things instead of "free guides".

Anyone have any tips...I kinda messed up my hair and my cousin buzz cut a part of my head on purpose :( .

Thanks,

Pixle

Where do you go to spend so much?

I go every month or 3 weeks to get a semi-complicated zero fade to two blade cut. My local place charges me $11 and Supercuts do it for me for $13.

[edit]

These two places do a better job than any other fruity ass mextrosexual salons.

Hair Cuttery here. $12 + tip (usu $3). Been going for 3 years, ever since some ESL lady at cost cutters totally botched the job and I went across the street to HC to get it fixed.

Dude, $40 a month?! I bet I spend like $100 a year at the very most on haircuts, and my hair grows fast.

$20 every two weeks is that hard to grasp? Even supercuts at $12 + tip is going to run near that every month, unless you enjoy looking like a slob.

Nice cheapshot at the end there. I don't know about you, but I wash my hair, so just because I don't get it cut twice a month doesn't make me look like a slob. The place I go is $10 + tip so $13 a cut. I've only cut my hair once in 2005, back in February or March; I just get it done the right way so that it's short enough that I don't have to worry about it for a while.

I've tried it but its not worth it unless you just use the clippers and shave it short.

Then you can taper the sides and back, but a haircutter will then blend the shorter tapered area with the longer parts above it, which takes two hands and can't be done by one person holding a mirror at the same time, and looks much better done right.

I have no idea what you are talking about, however; there is no way your hair is still short if it does grow fast after 3-4 months without a haircut, also hair grows at different rates....you may think you look ok...but I doubt many would agree.

My tips are more than your haircuts.

Just because you spend a ton on your haircuts and think you look good, doesn't mean you don't look like an absolute retard. But its good to see your secure enough with your haircut to come online and try to make fun of people and brag about how much you spend on your hair. Grow up

you missed the whole point, the idiot was saying anyone spending $40 monthly on haircuts was like lying. Me spending $10-15 in tip on a $20 something haircut is hardly a ton of money here.

Anyways chicks must dig retards then, as I am married, they know this and still try.

go back to talking to girls on the internet BIGpup.

Hair places are disgusting, although they clean the tools, they are used on thousands of people with who knows what kind of diseases.

I stopped going a few years ago. I just choose to shave my head, usually to the lowest possible (before a razer)

I go to SuperCuts in Santa Barbara, they charge $14 and then I add a $6 or $4 tip. It's expected around here to pay that much for a hair cut. Santa Barbara is the second highest place to buy a home in the country so I guess they need more money to live here?

But yeah, I need it every 2 weeks - my hair grows long and I really want to learn to cut my own hair. Then I can look sharp all the time.

same here. I don't particularly care how my hair (or lack thereof) looks and I have better things to spend $$ on.

this is how you cut your hair

either you dont do it, you cut it and it looks like ass, or you shave it all off
