Cutting out the fan 'grill' on my case. wondering how to go about it.

i used similar templates. straight cuts more or less make it simple. just use template for the fan hole and fan itself for the screw holes

I'm just gonna hack the crap out of my case and not worry about how it looks hehe. It's a cheap case anyway. I just don't like how many sparks the Dremel tool throws up so I'm going to take all my components out and take the case down to the garage and do it.

The $59 (on sale) Dremel kit I bought came with a circle cutting attachment that makes perfect holes. Just make a pilot hole in the middle and the tool guides the Dremel in a nice circle to whatever size you need. However, I still favor my hole cutters on a drill. I have 74mm and 114mm sizes for the typical 80mm and 120mm fans.

Quit listening to this wussy advice and use a couple of hand grenades. They'll blow open fan holes faster than anything else here.
