Cutting clip on Zalman 7000AlCu?

Hi,

I recently bought a new Zalman heatsink/fan, and in order to install it on my board, I apparently need to cut off the end of the clip to get it to fit (this is what the company recommends). Any ideas on how I might go about this? Its kind of thicker than I expected, and I've tried wire cutters to no avail. Are there tools at say, Home Depot that would cut through a small piece of metal like that? I guess its not really that thick really, but still I need something just for this I think. If anyone else has had to do that, let me know how its done.

I'd imagine diagonal cutters would do the trick, but I don't really know how thick the metal is.
