That looks alot like my ferret.... not sure how he died, considering I never took him to the vet.

Adrenal disease🙁

Both my ferrets had Adrenal glad disease at the same time about 3 years ago. They had surgery to remove them. My ferrret Hobbes's gland came back negative for cancer. Timmy's had cancer. He did fine for 2 years and then he got a big tumor on his rear. I had that removed. 5 months later he got another tumor near the same place plus an enlarged spleen. Tumor and spleen were removed. 3 months after that the cancer came back. I let him live out his live until he was in pain and had to put him to sleep.

Basically what I did for Mischief. He started showing the signs that the vet could no longer help, so I put him to sleep🙁
