That is super cute. My neighbor has a Pixie-bob, breed between a bobcat and feline. The thing is gorgeous and about the 1.5x the size of a normal cat.

It says in the very first lines of your link that there's no connection between these and bobcats, lol.

The Pixie-Bob is a breed of cat claimed by breed founder Carol Ann Brewers to be a progeny of naturally occurring Bobcat hybrids. Later DNA testing failed to detect Bobcat marker genes[1] and these cats are considered wholly domestic for the purposes of ownership, cat fancy registration, import and export.

Wife and I have a bengal cat. Breeder also sold Savannah cats.

I've noticed these cats are way more curious and intelligent than the average housecats we've owned. I can only imagine how much of a handful a bobcat hybrid would be.

Those are beautiful cats. I imagine they are very curious animals, more than domestic cats. How are they to own?

"But these babies simply took comfort in each other's company, snuggling under a desk... and then after high school bobcat ate fawn by accident."

That was my favorite part.

I looked into it seriously for a long time... I couldn't find a vet that had any experience with exotic cats though. :( Plenty of breeders out there and videos on YouTube of people with their pet Bobcats and Canadian Lynx.

I used to have a Bengal-bobcat hybrid.

Thing was way to destructive for me and I had to give her away to a guy that raised big cats (tigers, lions, etc).
