Cut Small Vein in Finger

I accidentally stabbed myself in the finger yesterday on the palm side of the middle knuckle and I believe that I cut into a vein. It's not really bleeding anymore other than a bit of oozing. Is this something I need to have checked out because of the probably vein damage or can I just leave it alone assuming there is no significant swelling/bleeding/numbness/infection?

So long as you're not getting infected, and your finger tip is still a healthy pink color (meaning you still have blood flow to it), you should be okay. A good compression dressing on it for a couple days, with some antibiotic cream, and you'll some day have a nice scar to brag to the ladies about. 😉

Keep the wound lightly moist with the cream, but not too moist that it looks like your finger has been in a bath all day. That will accelerate healing. Sanitation is the biggest thing here - keep it clean.
