Hey guys,
I wanted to build a budget gaming PC, for about $900 more or less. I mostly play the Call of Duty series some Sims 3, Crysis, Fallout 3 and a few other games. I will buy stuff from either Newegg or TigerDirect(the store) in Toronto. I prefer to use Intel E7400 series and up, and my GPU is getting old(8600GT overclocked to 650mhz). I don't care about the GPU brand, I want something at the power of a GTS250. I intend on using my OCZ 4GB SLI(800mhz) ready memory I recently purchased.I will also keep my HP 19" 1400x900 monitor. I have read at Maximum PC about the Crysis 40fps $500 rig, but I'm worried the parts wont last that long(future-proof). I plan to OC maybe just a little bit. Something like 2.6ghz to 3 or so. Plan to build it within the next 6 months. I would also like to note that I will spend the most on the GPU, and a 250-320GB drive is fine. ANY version of windows is fine also.
