OK, someone please clue me in. I uploaded a custom avatar (11 kb JPG) from my computer, made it my avatar and went to look at it and it was tiny tiny tiny, about 1/100 the size of others. What's up with this? I copied someone else's custom to my computer and saved it as a JPG and it was 8 kb. So, why is his full size and mine a speck? I want back to the one I had before...

It might be trying to maintain the entire image instead of cropping it. Try to resize it to no bigger than 80x80 in Paint or something similar and retry.

It's the exact same avatar I use at Rotten Tomatoes. I saved that to my laptop and uploaded it to Anandtech, but it displays less than the size of a smiley. :\
