Cussing in different languages rather than learning.

Why is it that when people want to speak a different language that they don't know how to speak, they only care to learn the "cuss words" rather than learn the whole language itself? It kind of annoys me that people only use other languages they're not fluent in just to cuss at other people and such. Why not try attempting to learn the whole language? I can't stand it when the only word people learn how to say is like "Poke Guy" or "Doh Ma" and such. It doesn't make much sense to me.

It's probably just the people you know. How old are they? Teens? If they are teens, then of course they don't have an interest in all the work it takes to actually learn a language.

yeah, its normally teenagers who pick up the cuss words of a different language...i know i did back then =)

but now, i like to pick up any part of the language (the basics first of course)

Yeah, most of the people I know are teenages, because well, I'm a teenager myself. But I don't only see teenagers doing this, a lot of them are adults too and it really annoys the heck out of me. It's like, if you wanna learn something, learn the whole language, just not cuss words. Cuss words aren't really gonna get you anywhere in life. I'm pretty sure that knowing just the cuss words in English is good enough. Everyone should be able to understand. What's the point of having to learn it in another language? Yeah, I know some people still learn it, just so that they can cuss someone out who doesn't understand the language, but come on... What a waste, you know?
