Check out my scores below.
The 2.2.2.5/7 setting doesnt work for me either.
I moved all my hardware from a Dell XPS P2-300.
New ATX case.
Ran Q3A with 11 bots for 7 hours, following a player in Spectator mode.

*** Edit --- ingnore temp reading -- upgrading Bios to fix readings
CPU temp was at 26c and dropped to 13c in 90 seconds.
MB temp 39c (102F) constant

No Probs with hardware, But after 800 frags or so the game had a message that kept appearing in RED.

FATAL:eek:ut of level items

(whatever) lol
1st player had 2300+ frags after 425 munites of play (haha)

If you want details of the upgrade check the Technical Help forum for my post.

what kind of cooling do you have?

Also, if it is conventional cooling, those temps are impossible(no, i'm not calling you a liar, because it is a bios related issue.. update to 1002 final or 1003 beta's and you'll get correct windows temp reporting).

NM, see that you're runnign 1001.A.

To Everyone Else Reading his temps, they are skewed roughly 18C too low. This was an early revision bios issue.

I put a Alpha PAL35t with a high performance fan YS Tech 60mm fan 26CFM.
I'm using Probe 2.11 to see temps.

I'll is that Bois stable? Cuz, I already upgraded through the software and it only took me to version 1001a.

DIDnt know about the temp problem ... sorry

Nice score zzzz!

Yeah, the problem is, about 2 months ago everyone was talking about the CUSL2 temp problems. Nowadays, since they've been fixed, most people don't hear about them.

if you go to CUSL2 Website, you can get a new version of Asus LiveUpdate(which finally works). You can either flash to 1002 final or 1003.beta3. I'm currently using beta3, and have no issues at all, but of course, not everyone is going to experience the same luck.

Of course, if the bios flash doesn't work, you could always flash it back to 1001.a

Mem scores scores seem a little low? Mine's a BX board but i didn't think there would be THAT much of a difference. I'll clock mine down :) to 980 for true comparison

Here's mine
CPU - 2846/1382
MEM - 471/531

actually, bx boards make a HUGE difference in the memory benchmark. my scores dropped significantly when i changed my bf6 to the cusl2. everybody's scores here are pretty much in the normal range. the thunderbird memory scores rock though.

i tested my system with a p3-700@980/asus cusl2, and then a tbird-700@933/abit kt7. the scores are within 1-2% of each other, but the tbird beats the p3 in memory bandwidth by 18%.

here's my scores with the tbird-700@1133:

3DMark 2000: 8326
Sandra CPU: 3231/1527
Sandra Memory: 517/585
Sandra CPU/Multimedia: 3842/5284

For Being only a Athlon 650@800 my MIPS/MFLOPS are relativly on the mark compared to all of your scores.. but for some reason my memory bench is low.

CPU MEM 319
FPU MEM 393

PC Specs
128MB Non-ECC Apacer PC133 Ram.
GA71X Gigabyte Motherboard
Athlon 650@800Mhz
100Mhz bus

Anyone with this combo or knows of someone with this combo that might have a better memory setting or Bios Tweak?

Does anyone know these tweaks?

I recently changed the Ram delay settings I think its something like 3-2-2-2-2 or something
I should write down what they actuall names are though

I flash to 1002.
Ran Q3A again for 9 hours.
The temp scores are even lower now.
22c/71f CPU
27c/80f MB
Dunno why they dropped. My room is cool though. Maybe that's why.
Is ASUS Probe reliable?

Thats weird how the CPU can be that much cooler then the case temp. My CPU is about 10degrees F higher than the Case them. Unless you got a peltier on there I thought that just simple fan cooling couldn't produce such results.

hmm, are you using the pcprobe off the cd? have you checked CUSL2 Website for the updated pcprobe?

And yes, with air cooling, CPU temp cannot be lower than air temp.

I personally don't like PCProbe(eats too much memory). I am personally using MBM 5.
