CUSL2 & PPGA CPU's?

According to ASUS' webt site this board will accept both PPGA 7 FCPGA CPU's but the manual that came with it only mentions FCPGA CPU's. Anyone know if it will work with a PPGA CPU or not? I just bought the board from a guy I work with, for $50, and was wanting to plug the Celeron 500 I have currently running in an old LX based motherboard via slotket into the CUSL2.
