Hi, was wondering if any who successfully using PEP66 (Alpha hs/f) on this mobo.

Also, if yes, which direction is the fan facing (ie. front or side of the case)?

How doesn it compare to PAL6035?

been reading many reviews and thought PEP66 would be a notch ahead if the fan is facing to the front of the case because it will get more cool air from the front case fan.

You'd need to modife the PEP66 to fit the cusl 2, you would need the mount the fan on top of the heatsink.

Yes it does compare to the pal6035, from the reviews I've read (even though they are not accurate) the pep keeps 1 or 2 degres cooler.

the reason I'd consider the PEP advandtage over PAL if the fan can be mounted at its original setting (on the side), where it faces the front to directly suck cool air from front fan.

guess I'd opt for the PAL if PEP fan can't be installed on the side.
 
that maybe my misunderstanding.
I thought that it would be reversible as same as my FOP32.

Is there a way to flip the fan to make it suck in?

can it be install so that fan can face to other direction (regarding about capacitors blockage)?

 
I guess it really doesn't matter as long as you don't have blockage. I didn't have to modify mine any and there it plenty of room for me facing that way. It depends if you have room in your case and don't have any blockage on your mobo.
 
That's what I originally bought it for but I couldn't take my 700 over 862 with my pos abit slocket. Just happy it fit right, but I had plenty of room in my case, that makes a BIG difference
 
my roomie modded the pep so it stand like the pal, and he added an extra fan on the side so he intakes through the side and draws through the top, works pretty good in this configuration
