CUSL2, locks in the BIOS, struggling

I recently pulled my Athlon and K7M out to upgrade to the CUSL2. I'm helping a friend build a computer so I got everything in duplicate. When I boot up the first time it brings up the menu to choose the Frequency of the proc. I plan on overclocking this 700Mhz to 933Mhz. I can make the settings the first time I boot up but if I try and save the settings it will reboot, but there's no post. I must then manually power down (either hold in the switch for 5 sec. or flip the power supply switch) and then try again. I cannot seem to make this work. I have duplicates of everything, and no matter what I do it will not boot past the BIOS screen, every time.
Here's what I have:
2 700MHz FC-PGA Intel proc. (100MHz FSB)
2 CUSL2 Mobos
1 256MB Micron PC133 DIMM, or 1 128MB Generic PC133 DIMM
2 Alpha 35T heatsinks
1 InWin Q600 Chassis or 1 InWin A500 Chassis
2 Annihilator 2 GeForce cards by Creative Labs

I have tried using some 100MHz RAM (128MB) but I get the same results. I have also tried using the agpPro piece both in and out. Consequently, do I want it in or out?
Any help would be great. I have pulled every card/chip, removed the battery, and other things and I cannot make it work.
Frustrated!

It could just be that your 700E won't make it to 933. Have you managed to get a successful boot at 700? Once you have everything settled in at default speed, you can try to increase the speed to 933 and increase the Vcore voltage as well.

I recommend that you install everything at stock speed and then once it's all in, up the speed as far as you can.

Tried running everything at specified speeds. I've had this problem since I first started using either board. I'm not even going to think about overclocking it yet.

Just a thought but make sure to flip your dip switches back a forth to be sure its in "jumper free mode" (in case one is stuck... and causing a fsb problem...) Also set the bios to default and start over from scratch... Be damn sure the heatsink is mounted properly on the cpu also (if need be dismount the board and check for alignment of the HS/fan on the cpu use a flash light from the opposite side to check for open areas)... It sounds like one problem that is duplicated between both boards (either hardware or a setting). Good luck and keep posting as to the progress...

ok if you want to run at 933 here is what you have to do... set it to 700 100:100:33 and then set the voltage to 1.85 reboot. load windows, restart then go into the bios again. set it to 133:133:33. if your cpu can hit 933 there you go. there is an odd issue with the board that the voltage will always be reset to default whenever cold rebooting. since not all chips can hit 933 at default clock you have to let it run thru the entire bios boot sequence before it will stay at the new voltage the next time around.

oh ya, you MUST leave the AGP pro part in since you dont have an AGP pro card.

I agree with pyr this seems to be working for me altho i am going to try and lower the voltages some... good luck with it:)

Did you try raising the voltage? 1.8 is what i need to hit 1008mhz. First, boot at 700mhz, setting your voltage to 1.8. Get into windows. Then, reboot, and choose 933, keep the voltage the same.

Are you using the latest bios? Also will the computer run fine at default speed? If so maybe your memory, cpu, powersupply just won't go 933. Just my 2 cents:)
