I recently flashed the 1002 BIOS on my CUSL2. Everything was fine. I had no problems when restarting after flash (i.e. no blank screen after powering, etc.). However, a few days later I decided to re-install Windows. After the re-install the board did not detect my GeForce2 so I wanted to remove it, restart without it (using the onboard video), reinstall the card and restart again. When I went into the BIOS I found that there was no longer an option to enable onboard video. I also remembered, that when I was installing the motherboard drivers from the ASUS CD-ROM, it did not give me an option to install the onboard video drivers.

I then flashed back to the 1001a BIOS and I was able to enable and use onboard video, install the drivers from the CD-ROM (the option re-appeared) and reinstall and detect my GeForce 2. Everything is fine now.

Two questions:

1. Why did I have to remove and reinstall my video card in order for it to be detected?

2. What happened to the onboard video with 1002 BIOS?

Thanks for your help,
