Ugh... Got a head-ache on Monday evening, threw up everything I ate. Stomach clenched up so I could barely get some water. Woke up every 2 hours to go to the bathroom. Threw up again in the middle of the night. Woke up this morning, stayed home from school... Too dizzy to play video games or study or do anything besides play with my dog. So far I think I have downed about 2 gallons of liquid. Can't really take solid food, threw up again after eating an orange and a bun. Slept for another 6 hours today.

WASH YOUR HANDS PEOPLE!!!!!

"stomach flu" and "food poisoning" are the same thing!!!! norovirus or rotavirus.

You can prevent transmitting the virus by simply washing your @#$!@$ hands.

Not directed towards you OP... just people in general. So yea, I guess it was kinda directed at you in a roundabout way 🙂 No hard feelings though 🙂 Hope you feel better buddy...

I drank 2 bottles of gatorade.

OCGuy... Why does that matter? How did you find that out? Who are you? ARGGGH!!!

Gatorade is glorious when you have that. Water is not enough.

Yes, yes it is.

If you have a sore throat though, avoid some of the flavors. They burn on the way down. The Frost Glacier Freeze (light blue) kind has been the kindest to me.

If you don't have Gatorade access, you can put a little bit of salt in a bottle of water. Especially sea salt, as there are multiple types of salts versus just sodium chloride in table salt.

Gastroenteritis and "food poisoning" are not the same thing. Not to mention that the "stomach flu" is caused by more than just the noro- or rota-virus (re: adenovirus, plethora of bacteria, and noninfectious causes).

It is still a good ideas to wash your hands.

Yep, my dorm had an outbreak of norovirus. I never got it, since I just ate my own food and washed my hands after using the bathroom.

Washing your hands won't help if the dude at Taco Bell doesn't wash his. Fucking guy probably took a massive dump before prepping my Chalupa.

Funny thing is, I was handling E Coli in Microbiology the day before I got sick.

Isn't it mandatory to take a massive dump to make a chalupa?? 😀
