You guys must not have read, a few weeks ago t-mobile changed their plans requiring the even more plus plans to have a contract now. This is not a mistake. All even more plus plans have a contract now. Just look at the terms at the bottom, they clearly state 2 year contract. Not sure where you guys are reading no contract.

Probably the big/bold letters all across the ordering process that say "No Annual Contract" with regards to Even More Plus.

It ain't bolded, but it's clear enough that it will be very hard to explain away.

im looking at doing this now, and it's hard for them to say you're in a contract when you have two tabs for the different plans, one says 2 year contact and other says no annual contract.

looking at the order page, I have discovered tmobiles error; you are not supposed to be allowed to order with the discount without having a contract plan. whoops on them :)

I am debating if I should order. Don't want to deal with the hassle of sending it back or them telling me it is a contract. Also never planned on getting a tablet, but for this price I am thinking about it.

My line has already been added and shows up as Even More Plus plan with no annual contract. I'm going to call up customer service on Tuesday to cancel and ask them to log into my account to verify what it says if they give me any problem. I also screen captured my account page that shows the no annual contract as backup.

just wish I could see if you're able to tether it through a BB.

Galaxy Tab needs infrastructure mode to connect. Do you have Sony PS3? If you do, try connecting your PS3 to your BB. If it can connect, then your Tab will too. PS3 also need infrastructure mode. Ad hoc won't work for Tab or PS3. You can edit WPA supplicant on the Galaxy Tab as workaround if your phone only does Ad Hoc but that's more work.

yeah, doesn't look like you can without also setting up the tether through a laptop and using that as the access point. oh well, guess that's a reason to get a droid phone in the house.

You don't need a droid or new phone. Just edit the wpa supplicant on the Galaxy Tab by following this guide. It's simple. Just make sure to save backup of the original files. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=838136 The Tab should be able to wireless connect to the ad hoc connection after this hack/fix so your BB should work just fine.

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

This is what UPS keeps telling me. I wonder if T-Mo managed to catch the packages on the loading dock, after they printed a label, but before they were picked up by UPS...

Mine already shipped and will be delivered on Wednesday. It's in Tennessee at the moment. The added line is already active. Don't worry you'll get it. The question is how much of a hassle to cancel the plan.

going from my recent phone order through them, it's likely that by the time they send you the tracking number shipping status will show it's already been in transit for a day or so.

I know a guy on IRC who did this twice. He didn't even activate his lines, he tried calling in and cancelling, and they told him there was no record of the lines (because he didn't activate them).

You can't do this with Flexpay, though. Fuckers won't allow "Mobile Broadband" devices with Flexpay plans - no matter where you buy them from. They blocked data on my S7 after I put my SIM from my Vibrant in it.

Anybody else have an update on their order? My account still doesn't show the new line and UPS still only says that packing label has been created and waiting to get to the facility :(

I had that happen when they did a 2 for 1 sale on the HD2, one line showed up, they never processed the 2nd one...

Mine shows on the ups delivery truck for today. No additional lines are visible on my account yet. Sounds about perfect so far :)

Woot, I just checked ups again and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow :). It doesn't show any new lines, either.

Looking at the slickdeals thread, people are saying that these devices don't show up as new phone lines on your account, but rather under "Mobile Broadband". May want to double check.

I went on chat and they didn't even see the plan in my account. They were like "you are on a EM 500 rate plan." At first I was scared, but then it turns out that this is my phone plan, lol. They told me to call the sales number, which I'll do after work.

Sounds like you don't even have to cancel since the tablet was never activated. They can't cancel something that was never active.

Mine shows under "Mobile Broadband" and when I click for plan details, it's under "Even More Plus 200 MB webConnect® Overage Free Plan" with my Mobile Broadband line number xxx-xxx-xxxx. So I will have to call to cancel the plan.

I don't see the "mobile broadband" option. Is it on the left when you go to "plans and services"? I just see my phone line.

edit: Just got off the phone with a csr. They said that the line still isn't in my account, but will show up when I receive it. If I don't get the line, I would have to pay full retail price. If I do, i can cancel it and just pay the pro-rated data usage & activation charge.

my account now shows 4 lines attached to it with the addition of the tab.
