Current n coming board revisions, Asus K8N-E Deluxe??

Hi everybody..

After lurking these forums for a while, gathering info about my new setup, i decided to join..Exellent forums!!

Now i have a question regarding the Asus K8N-E Deluxe mobo that i have decided to use for my new system. As i can understand from these forums the current board revision is 1.05 and my question is if there is anybody who knows if Asus i soon coming out with a new board revision or planning for it in the near future since it seems that there are still some problems to fix. Or are these problems easily fixed with BIOS updates?

I have no clue as to board revisions. I have the one that's stuck at 2.7, but according to the newest article on the home page it's great with IDE drives, not SATA. So make sure to get IDE if you're overlocking.

I have never OC anything before and have done some reading up on the subject and gonna give it a go when i get all the parts..I am, like many others, torn between which mobo i should choose.

There doesen't seem to be a board out there which is without faults of some sort, some more than others. It seems that the Asus K8N-E Deluxe board is one of the boards with the least problems, at least board rev 1.05.

The other board i have had my eyes on is:

DFI LANParty UT nF3-250Gb. This seems like the most complete board out there in terms of OC with it's wide range of options and the full Nforce 3 SATA implementation. But i hesitate to buy this because it is so new and are likely to contain a lot of problems..Maybe somebody have some real world experince with this board.
